Assess Discussions

Instructors can assess student discussions and assign scores from both the Discussions tool and Grades tool.

• Assign Scores to Students from the Assess Topic Page – Use this method to assess students from the Discussions tool from a list of all student responses on the topic.
• Assign Scores to Students from the Assess Students Page – Use this method to assess threads while reading the discussion topic.
• Grade Associated Activities Using Activity Icons in the Enter Grades Tab – Use this method to assess student threads from the Gradebook
