Add Rubrics to Activities or Grade Items

There are a variety of options for creating and using rubrics in TCU Online. They can be used for assessment and feedback, as well as instructional purposes. As such, when adding a rubric it is important to consider your instructional goals and needs in order to decide which rubric option will work best for you and your students.

When adding rubrics in TCU Online, instructors have two options. These two options function independently and serve different instructional purposes.

Instructors can:

• Add a Rubric to an Activity (Assignments and Discussions)
• Add a Rubric to Grade Item in the Grades Tool
