Set Due Dates and Availability for an Assignment

Instructors can set the Availability for an Assignment folder in the Assignments tool, and in Content if the assignment folder exists as a content topic within a module. When an instructor updates the Availability for an assignment in the Assignment tool, it is automatically updated in the associated content topic, and vice versa.

The Availability Start and End Dates each will have a set of three options. You will be able to select one option for each date. By choosing an option, you are deciding whether students can see the assignment, access it, and interact with it.

Important: Students will be unable to view graded rubrics associated with your assignments IF the Assignment folder availability is set to Visible with access restricted.
